Well, you have read about when the bunch was born, how and where. Now, it is many years later and they are all grown up and out of their own. Yes, folks, they do grow up and leave home. ha.. I thought that when they left home it would be terrible for me. It was for a little while but,then I got over it..
I didn't have a lot of problems with my kids growing up like parents do today. And now, I only have to fight with the old man about football...
I must say, it is just like a little corner of heaven without all those children in this 12' by 60' mobile home. All this extra room..it is just wonderful..
The front room that used to be a bedroom, is now an extra room with the bigger television and china cabinet in it. The middle room off the hall, used to be another bedroom, that is now my laundry room..No room left for anyone to move back home..Or so I thought. (grin)
OK..I guess it is about time to get started..I already told you that Denise lives in New Jersey with her husband Rod, and we write almost every day.
Denise and Rod have three computers and I can keep in touch to see what is happening with all of their family.
George is staying with us for awhile and works about three minutes from here at Blockbuster Video.
He is an assistant manager and really likes working there. I love it too, he gets movies all the time.
Janet, is married and has three children, Charlene, Bobby and Steve.
Both Janet and her husband Lee work for Home-Depot, even in the same store. Since they work different hours than I do, I don't really get to see them as often as I would like.
They just got a computer and, it is nice being able to write back and forth, the grandkids love it.
Barbara, is married and has three children also. Dwayne, Joshua and Trisha, she lives on the street in front of us, also, in the same mobile home park.
Personally, I love the idea that they are all close by, even if I don't see them a lot.
They have a computer also. Barb and her husband Ray also work for Home-Depot, but, they don't work in the same store together.
One works during the day and the other evenings, this way they don't have to pay a sitter. One of them is always home with the children. Pretty smart of them, isn't it ?
Tracie, is married and has two girls, Nicole and Kristina.
Tracie and her husband Dave live about twenty minutes from here in Auburn Hills, Michigan. Tracie used to work but, isn't working at the present time.
She spends a great deal of her time doing things at the church.
Dave is studying to become a minister. He works full time, and spends what ever free time he has doing things for the church and helping anyone that needs it.
They both spend a great deal of time with classes at church for the youngsters. It is a wonderful thing to know that so many children are in church and off the streets.
My oldest son Keith lives in Virginia with his wife Margie and they have two boys, Cody and Phillip. We, don't have much contact with them.
Well, that is about it for this "family all grown up". I am glad that all of my children have grown up and become people that I can be extremely proud of.
I hope that you have enjoyed this journey with me, and didn't get bored.
