          ~A Beautiful Banner Of Rexy's~

~You had better get a cup of coffee, pop, or what-ever, put your feet up and get comfortable, this is going to be a long trip. Hope you enjoy it, but, if you are in a hurry, then you may as well come back later.~ :-) I'm going to need a lot of space for this section, so, like I said before sit back and relax.

~And we are off on our journey~

I have had six children of my own and have two step-children. We haven't seen or heard from my step-son James in years but,we do know that he lives in Michigan.

Maybe, some day he will look us up and come to visit. I think that his dad would really like to see the man that he has grown up to be. As would I.

My step-daughter, Denise lives in New Jersey but,I don't consider her a step-daughter, she is just like one of my other daughters and always will be.

She may live a long way from here but, I keep in touch with her every day thanks to the WebTV.

She has three children, one grown up boy, Jay and two younger children a boy and a girl, named Robert and Rachel.

Denise is a beautiful woman and a great mother. I wish that she still lived in Michigan.

My oldest son, Keith Allen lives is West Virginia. He is forty years old and has two sons, Cody and Phillip.

Keith was born when I was only eighteen years old. He was born at home with only my mother and two policemen there. Believe me, I was scared to death, but everything worked out just fine.

We don't get to see Keith very often but, that doesn't stop us from loving him. Maybe,he will get to come and visit us pretty soon.

The next son, John Patrick, was born premature on the 17th of May in 1961. He was born with a rare blood desease that they had no cure for.

He only weighed three pounds twelve ounces. He was home for only two weeks when he got sick and we took him to the hospital.

He was in an incubator with tubes all over the place, such an awful lot for such a little guy.

The hospital called to let us know they wanted us to come at one in the morning, when we got there he was already gone. He is a little angel now and, with God. I miss him very much.

He was due on the 18th of July and that was the day that he died. I wonder today what he would look like had he lived.

The next son, George Patrick was born on May 6th, 1962, yes, not even a full year later. George wasn't due until June, I just have a thing for May, as you will find out as this little family unfolds.

My husband had told me that he was going to go fishing with some of his buddies, I told him that he wouldn't be going because I was going to have the baby that day.

Well, that is exactly what I did. I woke up at about fifteen minutes before two in the morning and I knew I had better get downstairs because the baby was coming very soon.

I did manage to get down but, only as far as the couch. My husband ran outside to get help, some help he was, he turned around and ran into the wall and knocked himself out.

By the time he came too, I had a baby right there on the couch.

My friend from down the street came in to see if I was alright, she also was pregnant, seven months. I had only been seven and a half.

Two policemen finally got there just before the ambulance, they ask me how far along I had been and I told them. They looked up at my friend Jeanne and ask her how far along she was, she told them seven months.

The one policeman looked at her and said, "lady, I don't mean any disrespect, but, would you mind sitting down and not getting up until we are out of here".

I guess the poor guy couldn't take another one. Ha... I don't know what his problem was, I did all the work. George only weighed four pounds, twelve and a half ounces....

          Well, are you yawning yet?

Take time out here, get something more to eat and something else to drink, take a pottie break..

But, be sure to continue on the next page---My Family Continued page..See you in a minute or two.:- )
